Zwing, a young boy due to a centuries-old contract forced to work on the town's plasa as a clown. He is humiliated and abused on a daily and his mother tries to find a way to save his son from the fate of his father. His situation only gets better after Zennya the witch moves next to the town and takes pity on him. The contract was made between Zwing's ancestors and the church and seemingly it has no way to break it. Zennya to give some kind of protector next to Zwing creates a butterfly-winged homunculus, and its existence urges the church. Can they break the contract and find peace?
