Xeno in the hope of a new start moves to a little city. He early on meets a guy named Holmes who he becomes friendly with. After half a month strange reassuring dreams haunt him. Dreaming of flying, about the city and feathery creatures that want to catch him. Once in a dream like this when he is surrounded by these creatures a shining white man arrives and saves him. That's when he realizes his dreams are the reality and he also turns into a creature of the night and the man is none other than Holmes.

They realize that Xeno is the only person who didn't lose his memories in that form and he even keeps a section of his rationality. With this knowledge, Holmes and Xeno try to find out the origin of this phenomenon that turns people into night owls.
